IFB AGRO, also believe the same and that is the perspective under which the following project was undertaken:

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOR BETTER LIVING

This is a collaborative project by “IFB Agro Industries Ltd” and “Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy”. Approximately 800 families are included under this project. They are residents of two adjoining villages namely Durgapur and Bagmari of South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.

Initially activities that form a part of the project are:-

• Disability management of identified disabled population in the villages.
• Improvement of school facilities.
• Economic development of the villagers, especially women.
• Improvement in the health and hygiene practices.
• Maintaining the green environment.
